Services

Main Morning Service - 10.00am:  You will find that our worship is fairly informal and takes place in a relaxed atmosphere.  In all our Main services we sing both modern songs and also some more traditional hymns, led by a worship group and worship leader. Refreshments are served after the service.

The Evening Service - 6.30pm:  These are usually informal praise services with a short talk and prayer ministry.

Young Church on a Sunday (0-10yrs):  Fun and games while learning about God.  Meeting during the Sunday Service.  Pebbles (2-6 years), Rock Solid 7-12 years), Teenage Church (13-18 years).

Young People on a Sunday (11-16yrs):  Meet during the service, after an initial time of worship, for a lively discussion, drinks, bite to eat and plenty of fun while exploring God.

A ‘Little Lions’ Service is held once a month for the under 5’s on a Thursday - look out for the dates on the service times (below), on the notice board or in the programme sheet.

On the First Sunday, we sometimes have an All-age Service, where the children and young people may stay in for the service, but also may leave for their own activity during the talk for adults. 

On the Third Sunday, we have a Praise Service. This contains quite a lot of informal worship, a talk and prayers. The children usually leave after some singing, but the young people often remain for the whole service.

On the Second and Fourth Sundays, we have a Communion Service, during which we receive bread and wine as a reminder of our Lord's sacrifice for us on the Cross.  The children and young people (if they wish) leave after the initial singing, either for Young Church (children) or for St. Mark's Young People (which is usually a discussion).

Prayer Ministry takes place during the communion and people are encouraged to receive prayer for themselves or others. Prayer Ministry is also available after any service for those who would like it.
